 For immediate release  November 2, 2021  Kram Welcomes Return of International Flights to Regina  Michael Kram, MP for Regina Wascana, today welcomed the news that direct international flights will be allowed to return to Regina on November 30. The Ministry of Transport today announced a partial lifting of restrictions on eight airports across the country. "This announcement is, obviously, overdue but better late than never," Kram said.  However, Kram noted that there was still more to be done, both locally and nationally.  "The federal government is still in the game of playing favourites for no obvious reasons. Today, they lifted restrictions on another eight regional airports but there are another nine that are still unable to receive international flights.  For immediate release  October 29, 2021  Kram Demands Feds End Flight Blight to Regina  Michael Kram, Member of Parliament for Regina-Wascana, today joined Conservative Shadow Minister of Transport in demanding that the Trudeau government lift the remaining international flight bans at airports across Canada, including Regina's.  "With international travel now opening for vaccinated persons, Regina residents are starting to make their holiday travel plans.   Kram Calls for Transport Minister to Intervene in Nav Canada Scandal  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  January 29, 2021  Regina, SK- Michael Kram, MP for Regina-Wascana, called on federal Minister of Transport Omar Alghabra to stop the closure of air traffic controller towers in the wake of revelations that Nav Canada has made a potentially unlawful, unilateral, secretive decision to close the towers, including Regina's.  Nav Canada, a private-public non-profit that operates Canada's air traffic control towers, had previously announced that it was undertaking a year-long operational review of towers in Whitehorse, Windsor, Sault Ste. Marie, Regina, Fort McMurray, Prince George and St-Jean in Quebec. At the time, Nav Canada assured stakeholders that no decision had yet been made.
