Kram Welcomes Return of International Flights to Regina

 For immediate release  November 2, 2021  Kram Welcomes Return of International Flights to Regina  Michael Kram, MP for Regina Wascana, today welcomed the news that direct international flights will be allowed to return to Regina on November 30. The Ministry of Transport today announced a partial lifting of restrictions on eight airports across the country. "This announcement is, obviously, overdue but better late than never," Kram said.  However, Kram noted that there was still more to be done, both locally and nationally.  "The federal government is still in the game of playing favourites for no obvious reasons. Today, they lifted restrictions on another eight regional airports but there are another nine that are still unable to receive international flights. Further, Regina and many other airports continue to struggle financially due to lack of support from the Liberal government through the pandemic.
